Lecture: “Britain to Canada to Michigan”
Britain to Canada to Michigan was a popular migration pattern and this talk explores resources
available to researchers studying families who travelled these routes.
Jessica Trotter holds a Master of Science in Information, Archives and Records Management Specialization
from the University of Michigan. She has presented for the past six years at the Archives of Michigan
Abrams Foundation Family History Seminar, for the Genealogy Center at Allen County Public Library, and
the NGS Conference in 2018 and 2020. Her genealogy research areas include Midwest, African American,
British Isles, Canadian, and Early American research. Jessica maintains a genealogy research related blog
