Mark Lowe, CG, FUGA, is a semi-retired professional genealogist, author, and lecturer with over 55 years of experience in family history research. www.kytnresearch.com He grew up in Tennessee with deep family roots in Kentucky and has spent much of his career researching and teaching in the South, particularly in Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and the broader Southern region.
