Getting Email From NWSGS Into Your Inbox (Not Your SPAM Folder)

We send most of our society emails from webmaster@nwsgenealogy.org. Some email services may mistakenly mark these messages as spam if they don’t recognize the address. To make sure you always receive meeting notices, newsletters, announcements, and reminders from NWSGS, it helps to add our address to your Safe Senders List or Contacts.

Below are easy steps for popular email providers.

Why This Helps

Most email systems use automated filters to decide what goes into your Inbox and what gets sent to Junk/SPAM. When you safelist or add an address to your contacts, you’re telling your email provider you trust that sender’s messages. That means:

  • Emails land in your main inbox (not Promotions or Spam).

  • You don’t miss society updates.

  • Your email provider learns from you what you want to see.
